Ways You Can Help
Not everyone is able or called to go into the streets, or into jails or other places to combat human trafficking, but this doesn't mean you can't be active in the fight with us.
There are many ways that YOU can be an active participant and join in this fight. Below are ideas on how YOU can partner with Christians United Against Human Trafficking and make a difference!
1) Hold a fellowship & fund-raiser dinner at your church. Announce that you're holding a fund-raiser dinner to help stand against human trafficking. Charge $10 a plate (or whatever amount) and ask the congregation to sign up and volunteer to bring a main dish, side dish, or desert, etc. and invite the congregation to the dinner announcing that all proceeds will go to combatting human trafficking in SWFL.
This not only promotes fellowship but gets the whole church involved in the fight against trafficking.
2) Woman's Groups can hold craft-sales or bake sales, with the proceeds going to support the work of CUAHT and combatting human trafficking. (we can even provide you with table signs)
3) Men's Groups can hold a pancake breakfasts. Proceeds can be donated to CUAHT.
4) Get the church youth group involved! CUAHT is happy to come to your church and provide a presentation on human trafficking, teaching teens what to watch for and how to protect themselves for trafficking scams. Teen Groups can plan a car wash on a Saturday with proceeds going to support the fight against trafficking in SWFL.
5) Motorcycle Clubs can hold poker runs and other events with proceeds going to CUAHT to help stop trafficking right here in the SWFL area.
CUAHT can provide printed educational human trafficking materials that you can hand out at your fund-raising events to help spread awareness and prevention.

These are just a few examples of how your church congregation or club can actively get involved in the fight to stop human trafficking.
Holding fund-raisers at your church, woman's club, men's club, motorcycle club, HOA, craft club, book club, etc. is a GREAT WAY for YOU to partner with CUAHT to help stop human trafficking!
