Jesus said, “The Spirit of the Lord is on Me, because He has anointed Me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent Me to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to release the oppressed. Luke 4:18
Christians United Against Human Trafficking follow Christ' example to proclaim liberty and set captives FREE! We do this by meeting people right where they are through various programs and outreaches.
On the streets - We minister to the homeless and those in need, providing food and our Bags-of-Hope filled with necessities and anti-trafficking printed materials. We also offer to assist with shelter placement.
In jail - One-on-one visits in the jail allows us to provide encouragement and printed materials and assess them for a history of the abuse of trafficking. We are currently launching Woman RISE! in the jail to meet women right where they are. Women are assessed for trafficking and if this is discovered they are provided opportunity to make a report with law enforcement and we set up trauma informed counseling and services right in the jail to begin the healing process.
In Schools - Our founder, Wanda Hainley provides human trafficking awareness training, equipping teens with information to keep them from falling victim to online predators who entice them into trafficking situations through promises of love, money, a modeling career, etc. When an at-risk teen is identified, we offer them the opportunity to attend the
Girl's RISE Group.
Training for Churches & Groups - CUAHT provides Human Trafficking Awareness Training in churches and business, equipping people to recognize trafficking activity and teach them how to report it.
Statewide: Our founder, Wanda Hainley, provides Human Trafficking Awareness and Prevention Training for the Office of the Attorney General throughout Florida
Nationwide: When called upon, CUAHT provides anti-trafficking training for conferences, symposiums and large group meetings.
